I love to tell the story of how this little Market came to be & I don't want the story of its beginning to go away....because it was simple & sweet &...pure.
I think that's my favorite part about it.
It was pure.
And Wendi & I hoped to encourage the socks off of some people.
Because when people are encouraged in doing what they were made to do....then those people do big things that effect us all.
In a world filled with opportunities to check out with our iphones & earbuds & ipads.....there is a heartbeat within that makes us want to be together.  We hope that the Garden Market is a place where you look forward to getting out & about, where you can connect with someone you've been meaning to see or who you meet for the very first time, where you get to know the artist behind the artwork & hear their story.
The Garden Market was birthed out of the hope for encouragement.
And it has been way more than that for us all.
Thank you for continuing to make it such a fun day.
Without the artists & without the audience it wouldn't be so.

The artists coming together this year for the Garden Market are brave to do the work they were made to do & we are grateful that they have & that they are willing to share it with us.
It will certainly be another grand Garden Market.  And I can't wait to see you there!

The Garden Market

This is the little Market that could!  

I love the story behind this market - this heart for community building & creative encouragement is what initially started this amazing market.  And it couldn't be so without the talented, hard-working vendors that literally put their heart into the work of their hands...nor without the support of the community that rallies year after year.  Thank you to all parties that make this market happen.

Geneva Smith was a vendor last year & will be heading up the effort of organizing the whole shebang this year!  I (Davis) will continue to let you know all the details as they arise & of course, all about each vendor that will be a part of the market this year.  It will be another great year & we can't wait to see you there!
