Cookie in the Kitchen

Cookie started her baking venture at age 11 (5th grade) when she strolled around her neighborhood and came back with 19 dozen orders!
Emily bakes it all herself (she really does because her mama is allergic to gluten)
She can bake gluten free, as well, if you want her to!
She's incredibly talented & we could not be more excited to have her with
us at the Garden Market this year!

                                         November 16th!

GENEVA's DOLL DRESSES

Geneva is the vendor from last year that so graciously offered to keep the boat moving this year for the Garden Market.
And for that, we are thankful.
Geneva has some true talent with the sewing machine & with that gift she creates clothes for the important dolls in your girls' lives.
What is sweeter than having a handmade unique item for your collectible dolls?
My girls would answer that there are very few things more important than that.
And I love that they continue to find joy in caring for dolls.
I love the fabrics she chooses & I love that she makes them by hand.
Here are a few pictures of some dresses Geneva has made!

Jen Tanksley

Ahhh.  Jennifer Tanksley, how do I love thee....let me count the ways.
Seriously.  I feel cooler just for knowing this girl.
This woman who loves life so fully & cheers her family on to hearts brimming over.
You've got a gift, my friend, & we are thankful that you share it with the world.
The way you capture the glory of a big Creator in your paintings is an inspiration & I am reminded of it every day that I get to look at my birds on a wire.
We're thankful you will be joining us again & can't to see all the beauty you bring with you!

SDOT

I gotta tell you that I can't wait to see Allison's face in just a few weeks at the Garden Market!
I came to love this girl the moment I met her.
So talented & so fun & so up to some cool new stuff this year!
Check out some of what she has to offer & get ready because you'll want to grab those things early for yourself, yes, & also for all those sisters & moms & friends you need to get a Christmas present for.

BETSY CLAYTON

So excited to have Betsy back at the Market again this year!!!  Such a talent & such a fun person to get to know.
Betsy has been making jewelry for a very long time!!
She makes lots of stone and pearl crosses on leather and suede & also has a large selection of gold-filled and sterling earrings along with great chain necklaces!!!
I love these new pictures of some things she's been working on & can't wait to see what all she brings with her on November 16!

Tania Julian

Tania was new to the Garden Market last year & she left quite the impression!
I had a dear friend come to my booth & brag about this amazing piece she purchased & her booth was so slammed that day that I ended up following up after to buy my mother the mug that she still refers to as her very favorite mug.
I love her stuff & cannot wait to see what she brings with her on November 16th.
Take a peek at the beautiful ceramic creations she will be bringing to the Market .....

Treehouse Cards

(a huge thanks to Clay Calhoun photography)

Lori was with us the past 2 years & is a sweet soul to be around.  Here are some words about her creations...

I've taken this year to 'think outside the box' a little and do some things that aren't exactly your mainstream 'Thank You' and typical 'Happy Birthday' cards.  Here at Treehouse Cards you will always find the main staples such as the owls, birds on a wire, that card to meet any occasion and all the holiday cards you would ever want.  But now, you can find some other types of cards that are a little different and don't give you a reason to send a friend or loved one a card, but simply 'just because'.  I hand stamp everything myself and I can personalize anything to your liking at no extra cost.  I can do most anything you'd like.  Come see me at Treehouse Cards, I'd love to meet you or check me out on facebook at Treehouse Cards.
Thanks!

lori murphy

Ann Carr & those awesome trees!

(shout out to Clay Calhoun photography for all of these pictures!)
I love these trees.
But you know what I love more than these trees?
Ann Carr.
Ann holds court on the porch & you don't want to miss out on the goods that she brings to the table.

She's an entrepreneur at heart with amazing taste & the mother of 2 precious little guys.
You better get there fast to grab one of these bad boys.

audrey allman designs

**10% of Audrey's sales will go towards Young Life Campership for North Atlanta & Grady!  There will also be earrings available with full purchase going towards this fundraising effort!**
Sweet Audrey Allman....I believe she was at the very 1st ever Garden Market & missed a year to have a baby :).  I'm pretty sure her due date was like the same day as the market that year!  A fairly valid excuse.
Audrey has been setting the trends in the jewelry world for as long as I've known her.  She puts things out there that are so wonderful & that I never would have thought of!  She always seems to be a step ahead of the trend, so pay attention!
I love it all.

We are thankful she is back this year & can't wait to see what she has in store!

See you at the Garden Market!!

fly by south

Brad Cousar & his family are GREAT people & Brad has a great product.  We are PUMPED that he's a part of the Garden Market this year.  Fly By South is something you're going to want in your pantry & to stock up on for all those hostess & Christmas gifts you're wanting to give.

What makes Fly by South™ sauces…well…Fly by South™ sauces?
The concept!
We’ve made a line of sauces that gives you and your whole family a unique eating experience.  We know that the foods you should be eating don’t have the flavor you really want!
Chicken, seafood, and veggies just don’t inspire that mouth-watering craving that the less healthy alternatives do.  Think about the last time you really craved sinking your teeth into a skinless, boneless chicken breast or fish fillet—the staples of a healthy diet…hard to remember, isn’t it?  Let’s change that!  If you can give us 30 minutes, we can help you turn your skinless, boneless chicken breast or fish fillet into a mouth-watering, savory, and healthy meal. Give us a few seconds and we can add zing to your veggies or potatoes. Imagine a healthy, flavorful meal that won’t load you (or you kids) up with sugar, cholesterol, carbs, or fat.  Fly by South™ sauces are easy to use and complimentary to your healthy diet.
It’s perfect for your busy life style.  By the way, they’re all-natural and totally white!
How?
Come see us and we’ll tell you…

Intown Sundries

One of our favorite parts about this Market is the people - I say that a lot.  And only because we mean it.   And because we mean it....I'll just say it again....

WE LOVE THESE PEOPLE!!!
Many of the vendors are using their gifts to support a ministry that they are passionate about. We have mentioned those ministries in previous entries & will continue to let you know all about these amazing people you will be meeting at the Garden Market on Saturday.
One of those people is Rebecca O'Mara with Intown Sundries.   She's awesome.  Her husband Tim is awesome.  And their soaps are awesome.
Her soaps really are wonderful & I am saying that as someone who has bought them for myself & others. A portion of the proceeds from the sales with Intown Sundries will go towards the BeltLine Bike Shop. You should totally check out their story & their journey with the Bike Shop.
I tell their story all the time.....it's a story that makes me want to move forward.   Inspiring.

So, grab a friend & come on out on Saturday, Nov 16th to the GARDEN MARKET!

wooden toys

These wonderful handmade wooden toys will be back again this year!
So precious!!!

Emily Matthews

If you don't know Emily Matthews, then just consider it a blessing that you will get the opportunity to meet her at the Garden Market.
This girl is full of life & joy & kindness & creativity & I always love seeing what flows out from her heart.  Many people call her a friend & all who know her call her an encourager & fully alive.
I'm just so excited that she is joining us for the Garden Market again this year!!!!
I can't wait to see all the things that she & her paint brush come together to make!!!

Alexandra Frederick

Alexandra is new to the Garden Market this year & we are so excited for her to be with us!  Some of you are aware that we had a little hair mishap in our house involving a 5 year old & a little creativity with her hair & a pair of scissors.....so hair accessories are a part of our lives while the hair evens itself out.
Come ready to meet great people like Alexandra on November 16th!

Southern Expressions

Southern Expression will be at the Market again this year with her embroidery machine in tow!  How nice to be able to get your gift monogrammed on the spot!
check, check & done.
She will also have the cutest gifts for those new babies being born into the world - among some other great things!
Like bowties!  Are you kidding me!?
If you know my little guy, then you know that we're all pretty excited about the bowties.
Come check it out &
Can't wait to see you there!!

Whole Creative

Meredith is new to the market this year & has a sweet motivation behind her work.  Her family is in the process of adopting & she is using the gifts she has to help fund that process.

She makes children's jewelry & it's amazingly adorable!  I have some girls in my life that would certainly enjoy her creations & my guess is that you do too.

Come check her out at the Garden Market on November 16th!

the neema shop

Well, I've been crazy busy painting and mothering so forgive me for not posting more pictures...though I hope to through the week!  This market has become near & dear to me...I sound like a broken record, I know.  But I love the hearts behind the people who step forward to do this.
I love that it has stayed small & intimate.
I love the opportunity to know the person behind the work.
I love it all.
And I love that you come.
You come because you have grown to love all that makes this market unique too.
And I just can't wait to see you there!!!

Quick highlight....the angels are meant to tell a story.
I read Isaiah 9:6 & I get wrapped up in all that is there.  Every set of words has so much meaning...a son is given, a child is born...and the government will be upon his shoulders....He will be called Prince of Peace.
Mighty God.....and so on.
And to rest our thoughts around each one overwhelms me in the best way.
So.....that is the story behind the angels.  Collect them or give one as a gift.  They can stand alone or they can be a set.
There will be placemats there again this year & a smattering of other things.
Hopefully, I will be able to offer name meaning boards!!!  So stay tuned for info on that.
You'll want to make sure you follow us on facebook for the latest.

And now, I'm off to take a quick rest before I jump back into it.
Do plan to stop by!
I know there are other markets happening around Atlanta this weekend...there is no reason to choose among them.  Hit them all!  And with the Yumbii truck coming - plan your lunch around the Garden Market!
Though, as you veterans know, you want to get there early to get your hands on the best picks!
I love locally made goods.......it makes Atlanta great.

Ruth Hurd - pillows

Ruth is new to the market this year & will be bringing beautiful pillows that she has made!

Abby's Angels

So, there is this little girl.  I never knew her - but I knew of her because so many special people in my life knew her.    But here's what I do know - & if I have some facts wrong then we'll get it all sorted out soon enough.
Sweet Abby had cancer & died way too young.  She fought a brave battle & an army raised up around her that help to let her name live on in a way that will continue to help other children with their fights with cancer.
These beautiful drift wood angels & nativity sets will be sold in Abby's memory & the money raised will go to Blue Skies ministries.  And Blue Skies is something we should all know a little but more about.....I have friends that have volunteered their time with their families to be a part of what happens on the retreats at Blue Skies & I'm betting we all know families that have, or would benefit from the relief that Blue Skies offers families of children with cancer.
This market always draws people with hearts that beat big.  So come ready to be blessed in so many ways.  We can't wait to see you on November 16th!
